I think we could go through weird waves of vacant, financialization before rents crash though. People parking cash in real estate that’s risky elsewhere.

Assets in general are a good idea when a currency is being devalued.

Midwest real estate I’ve acquired offers cash flow you can’t find on the coasts but no hope of appreciation. To each their own.
