I can read Chinese and it looks to me that both sides are attacking the other side. And most are using simplified Chinese so they are all from the mainland. I'm not surprised because just as Americans have heavily polarized opinions towards Trump, Chinese people, especially the educated, also have a huge divide in their political views. You don't see that in Chinese websites because they know what not to say there, but on GitHub, a foreign website without a high risk of being blocked, both sides just unleash hell on anyone who they do not agree with.
