The CTF Time listing for it indicates that it is "Jeopardy" format, which I assume means categories with increasing value/difficulty. It also lists the competition as being open for 24 hours.

Thank you, I got a similar answer over on IRC. I know jeopardy but just the main idea so I could not deduce that :p
