I agree with your points, however, many Americans do indeed have to think twice about calling the police in that situation and all probably should. Should you call the police because there's someone outside the house and risk them arresting or shooting you? That's a real question for many Americans. Healthcare isn't the only thing that's broken in this backwards ass country, that's for sure.
