There are tons of other non-Russian publications writing about the same thing...I've actually been reading about this for the last week and there seems to be a lot of coverage on it from sources like Foreign Policy [1][2], The New Yorker [3], The Guardian [4], Newsweek [5], Vice [6], Washington Post [7], etc...for what it's worth
