If you think newer “technology” (re: programming language or framework) is superior to older “technology” – you are likely agist, and part of the problem.

Depending on the context yes.

If your bank has some COBOL systems running to keep accounts up to date, do you really want some team of pinheads to 'fix it' by porting it to python?
