Interesting that most of the comments here are about Reddit itself (the product) and almost nothing about Tencent.

For reminder, Tencent owns

- Riot Games (League of Legends, one of the most played game in the west)

- Epic Games (Fortnite, another one of the most played game in the west)

- and now Reddit (one of the most visited social network in the west)

So just purely based off investments, Saudi Arabia owns Twitter. Russia has had its hands in Facebook since 2009. Now China has a big stake in Reddit. Genuinely curious where this will lead.
