Maybe Yuval Harari's book "Sapiens" might help you. I've been personally hurt indirectly by a company started with Ycombinator: Airbnb. Don't I have a voice in this? At least I kept my words when I said I will post this on Hacker news, if you guys take the time to read what I wrote in the medium post. It's the most gentle reminder of how things are going wrong that I can think of.
