2. He uses the language of fear, a lot.

3. His follower tend to be outright dismissive of opposing views.

Having one's followers be dismissive of opposing views is not necessarily bad. Darwin shares that distinction.

You've just described almost every humanities professor I've ever had. I didn't need an article that long to hear a pot call a kettle black.

Those points describe a large number of public intellectuals from across the political spectrum, most of whom I would not consider dangerous.
