Canada signed the TPP which makes copyright 70 years after the death of the creator.

Not exactly paradise.

But to be fair, those were provisions demanded by the American negotiators, and have been dropped in the updated CPTPP.

Canada had those terms removed from the TPP after the US pulled out.
