My overclocked pi's & abruptly shutdown pi's were the primary reason for my corrupted SD cards.
In my experience Toshiba Exceria M302 (built for action cameras) scores higher in longevity than Samsung EVO. I've abused the Toshiba SD card to get it corrupted & I've yet to see one.
