And it misses the important question: “what is your 1-3 year plan for when new web assembly GUI frameworks make 75% of your knowledge obsolete?”.

When we get closer to the reality that a game like Grand Theft Auto or something runs in your browser without audio hitching, asset streaming and more, maybe this will make sense. 1-3 years though? Seems dubious.

The fundamentals don't change every 1-3 years. Most of these questions would have been relevant 5 years ago.
