Our customers do indeed run devices from us and from competitors for decades. These lifespans are normal and expected. We currently manufacture and sell devices that have been developed 10 to 15 years ago with virtually no changes.

Internally, we have a push to transition user interfaces for future products to HTML/JS over HTTP. This was sold to our management as a solution with long term stability.
