That's so New York. The upscale food fad thing is amusing, but not a serious problem.
What's more of a problem is the downscale food fad of putting cheese in everything. That didn't happen by accident. It's a plot by Dairy Management, Incorporated.[1] US cheese consumption per capita has doubled since 1980. This is a major contributor to the obesity epidemic.
