This is super awesome!

Although it's slightly frustrating how closely named it is to the Amazon Athena[1] service. Which also is a SQL-based analytics service, but quite a bit different than Uber's project.

Wasn't Athena also a name used for X-Window widgets?

When I saw the name AthenaX, well, I thought it just had to be related to X. I guess I'm old.

What about River? Looks like there is an R package and an abandoned Apache project that use the name, but maybe not that confusing given context.

Athena's approximate Roman analogue is Minerva. Doesn't appear to be used by anything in this space.
