What of the Iraqis who helped the US in exchange for promises of asylum? Sending them back to Iraq very well may get them murdered and/or raped.

Of course they have to be admitted. New Secretary of Defense agrees too[1]. Since Trump's EO has specific provisions for that (DHS can accept anyone they want if deemed necessary) I hope that would be resolved quickly.
