"I've got a version of tourette's where instead of yelling obscenities at inappropriate times, I say something brutally honest"

I am curious to know if this is a real thing?

EDIT: Just to clarify, I am not saying it isn't, I am genuinely curious.

Certainly not in the classification of Tourettes it isn't. And it's rather insulting to those of us who do have it to make an excuse like that.

Having lived with it for 30 years I wouldn't classify it as something to cast about lightly as some kind of metaphoric excuse for being an asshole.

Look up the definition of Tourettes tics; this most certainly does not count as a tic. The popular condition people who are "brutally honest" (aka: an asshole) claim is Aspergers. Aspergers is not in fact an asshole syndrome, but internet assholes have adopted it as their self-diagnosis of choice anyway.
