Off topic, but the first paragraph mentioned using 2G mobile internet in Taiwan... why!? 4G is cheap and plentiful there.

I was roaming! T-mobile gives me free 2G when roaming, and I don't like temporary SIM cards because nobody knows how to call me if there's an emergency :(
