Why would this be an easy battle? Creating design and code that works on billions of devices, on independently-developed browsers for multiple operating systems, viewed through wildly-varying physical dimensions and I/O, seems like it's one of those battles that would seem to be perpetual.
It's a shame we've been fighting this battle since the 1990s and are still fighting it.
