NAIL ENGAGEMENT FIRST. THEN GROWTH. Otherwise you are just bruning through users. Your best hope is to attract them back later via transactional notifications.

Yep. Growth almost never happens by continually attracting more users than you lose. It happens by not losing your current users and continually adding more.
