There is also https://www.freecalypso.org/ which aims to produce libre firmware for the TI Calypso baseband chipset.

Their mailing list is fairly active.

Please remember that FreeCalypso is not free software in commonly used sense - it uses unlicensed code from leaks. People behind FreeCalypso don't care about law, so they don't mind.
