Bud Light simply paid a trans person to promote their product, without any political messaging whatsoever. It was the boycott by anti-trans bigots that politicized that incident.

The irony being that Dylan Mulvaney's pretending-to-be-a-girl act isn't progressive at all. It's based upon offensive and misogynistic stereotypes of women, and is quite frankly a demeaning insult to half the population.

He and the conservatives are like two peas in a pod. If he wasn't actually claiming to be a woman, they'd probably all be laughing along with it like it's a comedy skit, saying yeah that's what women are like.
