In the countries that you think of as having 'strong, fair, and just judicial systems' governments typically control only the fiscal policy. Monetary policy is left to some independent entity. For countries with fixed exchange rates it is also impossible to have autonomous monetary policy without imposing restrictions on capital mobility. This also applies to blocks of countries, e.g., none of the individual governments of euro countries have control over the bloc's monetary policy.

I'm quite sure that it was the whole POS. The Coop next to where I live accespts Swish (QR/mobile payment) and it was closed as well.

But that was my point exactly. Sure, you can live in Sweden without even knowing how cash looks like so it is cashless in a way. But, if the cash register is not functioning then you are done* with or without cash in your pocket.
* I'd wager that if you know the prices and keep track of what you sell, you'd be fine recording the transactions after the fact.

You can pay with cash at Coop. Most if not all cash registers allow cash payments. Most customers don't pay with cash.

In this code, the main problem---I think---is that there are intermediate results that are being allocated, e.g., Fk_1 * Pu * Fk_1'. I will speculate that you could improve on the baseline code by preallocating these in the same way as Pp, K, aux1, and Pu are initialized outside of the loop.

Re:Äike – First e-scooter developed and assembled in Europe

I would say durable rather than luxurious. The breaks were, but I'd say the tires weren't. I am yet to experience something like this on my v8f. There are other advantages of larger motors, like ability to ride uphill at larger inclines. Scooters are easily overpowered there and essentially useless in more hilly places. Bottom line is, that I am yet to meet a person who tried an EUC and prefers a scooter.
Re:Äike – First e-scooter developed and assembled in Europe
on Tuesday April 13, 2021 @02:35AM (#26788806)
Yes. The budget starts at 1000EUR vs 250EUR. The difference is much less once you realize that you probably want two (disc?) breaks, probably suspension, larger wheel size. When I was making the purchase it was basically same price at that point.
Yes. It takes a few hours to learn to ride an EUC. But I'd wager that EUCs are safer because of that. Most accidents on rental scooters happen to first-time/occasional users. The fact that you need to learn how to ride an EUC gives you an appreciation of how bad things can go if you push farther than your skill allows.
In the end, EUCs are safer (larger wheel doesn't get locked in small potholes), more comfortable even without suspension, break faster due to more powerful motor, and are more compact.

EUCs are even better in all respects and allow you to transport more as you have both hands "free".

OneNote is not funcional. You can quite easily set it up so that your notes sync as PDFs to the cloud (Dropbox/Google Drrive/One Drive) via a3rd party syncing app. I use that and it works great. My notes sync to my desktop and I can add/remove papers from my desktop as well.

Maybe I'm blind but I given a diagonal read I couldn't find the sample size. Most of the restrictions were being introduced in the spring and at the same time. This probably leads to some issues: little cross-sectional information to identify the effects of all the different types of lockdowns; limited testing means that we do not know how many cases were there and we only knew of the most severe ones.

They have not decided whether e-krona would be a 'account-based' (like you say) and a competing/backup payment system. Or a 'value-based' where it's 'stored on a card'. At the same time they do not want to impact lending facilities of banks so if they go with the first option they will most likely deemphasize it considerably to keep deposits in traditional banks. The 2nd option seems to me like a total fail, similar to what Chipknip was in the Netherlands. The main motivation for the ekrona seems to be the move away from cash, but Sweden has been cashless for a long time now (between Swish and cards).
