It is like Route53. However, you cannot buy domain names from FreeDNS.

You can use FreeDNS as a name server and manage domain name records, like A records, cname, and MX records. You can have a dynamic domain name too.

You can also obtain free sub domain names from those who use FreeDNS as the name server and offer free sub domain names.

The irony is that this is a president of the US that wants to have a Nobel peace prize.

Very interesting! Do you organize screenshots and images by day and by topic?

Yes. That's the one! Thank you!
Re:Notes on Managing ADHD on Sunday August 31, 2025 @04:26PM (#45086770)
I read at one place regarding an ADHD drug that is non-stimulant and makes people a little drowsy, which is why it is good to take before going to bed. I don't remember what the drug is called. Does someone know?
Thank you!
Thank you! Do you mean that with under 100 grams of carbohydrates per day, your body is still mainly in the ketogenesis state? Or is it that with under 100 grams of carb per day, a person is no longer having a keto diet, but the low carb diet is still healthy?
Thank you very much for sharing your perspectives!

May I ask what the differences are between the keto diet you used and the low carbohydrate diet that you are on now? Do you allow for more carbohydrates than a typical keto diet?

Thank you very much for your detailed reply!

One thing that I'm concerned with, is longevity when a person is on keto. Do you share this concern? Do you know any reliable data source on keto diet's impact on longevity?

Hi. Could you maybe share the keto and the low carb diets that you use(d)?
Re:Abandoned villages of Hong Kong on Monday February 12, 2024 @10:51PM (#39354141)
This is strange. Hong Kong is not that large, as compared to South Korea or Japan. Many people in Hong Kong live in tidy space. Why are there abandoned villages in Hong Kong?

How do you solve the problem?
Re:Nuclear smartphone 3V battery lasting for 50 years on Friday January 12, 2024 @06:27AM (#38966793)
I'd rather have to charge the smartphone battery everyday, than carrying radioactive material in my pocket.

It's uncertain when Google discontinues Gemini.

Re:NetBSD 9.3 on Sunday August 07, 2022 @03:46AM (#32374707)
Interesting. Does the Geophysics Department use a different OS now to run the workstations?
Re:NetBSD 9.3 on Saturday August 06, 2022 @05:22PM (#32371698)
Does someone run NetBSD in production? What do you use NetBSD for?
Re:NetBSD 9.3 Released on Saturday August 06, 2022 @04:28PM (#32371313)
Why do you prefer to use NetBSD? What do you use NetBSD for?
I'm not sure, however, it seems that the game does not have the element of borrowing / lending of money. I think the optimal strategy will be quite different than yours, when the economy has the loan component.
Re:The Coca-Cola Company Suspends Its Business in Russia on Tuesday March 08, 2022 @05:22PM (#30608061)
I wonder whether Russia will be as isolated as North Korea.
Re:From macOS to FreeBSD on Friday February 18, 2022 @07:00AM (#30384627)
It seems some FreeBSD developers use macOS themselves, instead of FreeBSD. I found this quite peculiar.
Re:We're migrating many of our servers from Linux to FreeBSD on Monday January 24, 2022 @04:35PM (#30064388)
Did you hear what happened to the NetBSD servers afterwards?

Some modern laptops support only UEFI booting, when booting from internal hard drive. Does LILO/eLILO support UEFI booting?
Re:My progress in porting Wine on Saturday January 01, 2022 @08:25AM (#29758088)
One thing that prevents me from using Haiku OS daily, is that it does not support full disk encryption. If someone has physical access to my laptop, it will be quite easy to read the files from the hard drive.
I look forward to a day, if it will ever happen, that I can have a ZFS RAIDZ2 with arbitrary number of disks of arbitrary sizes.

Re:“Great resignation” wave coming for companies on Monday June 14, 2021 @06:12PM (#27508992)
I'm currently living in Europe. I wonder how this affects people who are based in Europe and other continents. Can one work remotely for a Bay area company in a different continent, and receive a salary that is at the level of Bay area salary?
Re:From Julia to Rust on Monday June 07, 2021 @06:48PM (#27428278)
Thanks. I'll give it a try!
I don't understand why a person would risk their life. Why not first establish a series of successful flights without humans first, and then with humans?
