Actually Claude can teach humans more about humans by providing the language and personality knobs. For casual conversation, have 100 of personality profiles and language styles and upfront tell the user that they are engaging with P profile currently and see how humans relate to it. This will teach humans how to peel back layers of style, fluff, flair from language vs facts.

I stuff what I have to say into AI's it.

That's how Henry David Thoreau wrote.

Is Mojo programming language useful in the age of AI?
Analogy: Textual version of Material Design from Google.

Standardization in important information rich environment is good. Standardization for art is not good. We should not mix these two distinct scenarios. Or maybe I am old.

I think Threads could have been done in Elixir.

I have escaped the Matrix [bits and bytes world]; But entered the Gastrics (juice) [ie flesh and bones world]

Greatness cannot be planned.
CrowdStrike Outage means we need better Windows.
I think Peter Schiff has been beating the drumbeats of collapse since 2008. But now on the other hand, we have a rising power China trying overthrow the current system which will accelerate the process. China wasn't in that position in 2008.
To see the steelman position explained properly, I would suggest to follow macro guy Luke Gromen both on twitter and on YouTube.

I have two observations : We have so much compute power sitting idle, finally with the help of AI we can get what we need for solving personal problems. Most of the time, our problems require emphemeral solutions. e.g. building a complaint management app for my building. or something simpler.

Another observation : I expect in future the UIs could be dynamic, fluid, AI-generated and personalized. Old person, here's big font for you. You need to just know current balance, here's the number.

Your brain is also self-reflective. It can from the inside change its expectations. Reaching for the metaphor of evolved prediction machine implies you can't train in any other way, but you can. Let's say society collectively decides (or capitalism) that we need liesure living just like Europeans do, then that will be the system. Why are we following on Elon's footsteps of compressing 1000 years of progress into 100 years. No asteriod is coming to destroy us, so no rush.
Re:The Absurdity of Albert Camus on Saturday August 01, 2026 @12:49PM (#49136015)
I think Reality is so big, you can superimpose any Quality (Absurdism, Discordianism, Hedonism, Lovecraftian Horror, Bhakti Devotion, Theatre metaphors, Infinite Games metaphors, etc). The way I think is : all these qualities are of a subset and we are applying these qualities to a superset through morphing step by step. One just has to be clever enough with words.

Lazy evaluation would save on money. Branch prediction would save on wait times. In places electricity can shut down, lazy evaluation would be preferable to make it work longer on limited battery.

Branch prediction or Floor prediction. If we know the traffic pattern from past data, we can optimize for it.
Trisolarans had advanced technology which means they knew about probability. Probability immediately implies Lying and the two types of scientific error we have. ie false positives and false negatives

I think this also makes the case for Industrial Espionage

If innerX and outerX are opposite, hey that is significant.

If innerX and outerX are same, I told you so, its obvious.

Tulsi said US operates lot of biolabs outside US so as to avoid US regulations.

Are you saying Claude is engaging in Rhetorics because the RL data generated by humans were influenced more by it and persuasion rather than actual logic or reasoning?

So it seems you are in favour of Right-sizing.
You can ask AI to read it. I do the same with HN comments as well.

This is just like any extreme engineering domain. I am okay with occasional delays in Flights, as long as it takes me from X to Y in 10hrs vs months.
