Obviously there will be a maximum hit and then there will be no one to ask to solve your problem and youre gonna be up a creek

Others have though much deeper about this its all documented in academic papers and books
This is a distillation attack on the wise people of hackernews!!!

How can you type that into a device and then go continue social charades and be like yeah this isn't rationally designed
Re:Postgres 19 is late, and it's AI's fault on Sunday November 01, 2026 @08:25PM (#50331924)
We're never solving nphard. Just like we'll never extract all of the coal/oil/natural gas from earth

How do you build a society where everyone wants to live in it and has a means to?
Yeah we should read an example of a how a guy writes down exactly what hes going to do, tells everyone how hes going to do and ends up doing it because he finds out everyone doesn't believe him and he can just lie about shit publically because no one stops him.

Why would we want to forget such an example?

Build something to fix the wicked problems of the world.

Or https://www.un-ilibrary.org/content/databases/25202804

The rules are the ai can't say the only winning move is to not play and it can't choose to kill everyone.

Its all about checks and balances -dario
A spec should use orthodox tools and formats for higher level system descriptions. Like a BPMN file, a TLA+ state machine model, a P/ModP or Event B system.

Llms compile that into a binary and you deploy it and present it and users use it and they're happy or not.

There's just so many different projections of how to describe a system. What's the moat bang for the buck.

It could if people actually used their political power

Is this really as interpetable math is fundamentally. Like wtf is this accessibility? who is this for? Do top mathematicians read this like a chapter book? Absolutely ridiculous they have all this compute and creative resources and cant make something more intuitive to help people understand it more natively
Re:Using LLM for confidence scoring is a bad idea on Wednesday October 21, 2026 @11:38PM (#50190914)
One has a human behind it and one has a matrix latent space. Usually human understanding is more "real"

Stallman vehemently states llms are bullshit generators with no true understanding.

But sometimes you can approximate your problem and unfold an llm interlocator to producing the strings you need for your task

Just make a theoretical minimum type test like the landau physicist

Re:Regex visualized as 3D marble run on Sunday October 18, 2026 @03:18PM (#50144336)
Actually yes? If math equations also wrote a fluent English way of saying the full thing as well as the literal syntax as well every time it would help more people actually understand it.
