My favorite Apple Watch feature is Camera Control for group photos. I love how you can see a live preview of the photo and it gives you the ability to zoom.

I also enjoy tracking my workouts, my steps, and heart rate.

Sleep mode is great to monitor my breathing, heart rate.

Quick notifications are great in case I have an important and timely email.

Pinging my misplaced phone is helpful too.

Re:Ask HN: Is it just me or is 5G strictly worse than LTE? on Sunday January 29, 2023 @01:35AM (#34565543)
I recently upgraded from an iPhone X to an iPhone 14 Pro on Verizon and did not see any improvement going from LTE to 5G. If anything, the connection became less stable and I decided to disable 5G and it works a lot better!

cerver rooms anyone? :D
Not only that, Fortnite has full cross platform support for PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series S/X, some Android phones/tablets, Nintendo Switch, and of course iOS and iPadOS when Apple and Epic weren't fighting. Fortnite definitley has a stigma around it for the younger demographic and toxicity, but from an engineering perspective it's pretty amazing.
How is this news now? This isn't a new thing

I believe it indirectly makes money as being a platform for Google's ecosystem, especially for their Enterprise Cloud apps suite or even Chromebooks.
Actually I agree with you, it's not about the money but addiction.

It's not Android; it's the services. This happens on iPhone's too.
All it takes is a one-time developer registration fee of US$5.00 to verify your account and publish.
