I haven't noticed if Walmart's new readers are NFC enabled, but using a chip and pin card with them is all about timing. Too early and the transaction hangs during authorisation. If you don't go through the prompt and explicitly declare the transaction as a credit, the transaction won't go through either. If they're NFC enabled I'm sure the same restrictions apply.

I don't know, that gave me a good laugh.

For starters, finding it on the App Store is impossible. I had to search for your name to get the correct app to pop up. Nothing you can really do at the moment, but just a head's up.
Game play is fun. It's a nice casual game, but of course if you want to score highly then some critical thinking is involved. If I want to kill some time swiping my screen I can see this being enjoyable, but if I'm wanting something a little more challenging I can do that playing this as well.
I'll keep it around for a bit. Thanks!

I was really, really hoping that you built this in lisp.

I was thinking this sounds strangely like a library card you pay $120 a year for.

This is probably one of those things where we have no idea what a practical application is until it pops up on something.

Can't wait until someone hangs a "No Christians" sign above their establishment and people flip shit over it.

So, Facebook has it figured out because it uses displayed names? If only I didn't have to log in using my email, which suffers the same problems of usernames.

I signed in just to say that. First thing I noticed was good girl Gina. You really integrated her into the site, which might not be a good thing. Otherwise, I think it looks pretty sound.

I too have no idea what the game is, but think it looks pretty cool.

Not really.
They were fine having video games around, so I guess gaming got me more into computers (navigating a dos interface always made me feel special). We had a major traffic accident that gave my cat a tumor and made me want to be a vet, so that might also count.

I've got 3/4ths of a film degree and 3/5ths of a biology degree. Where's the option for that?

I don't think I'm the run of the mill HN user, but I'm an undergrad in biology.
Still give to charity.
