They (adhoc) pay scale for everyone ... as they are focused on pay parity. Everyone starts at the same equal level pay per job title and you can not negotiate your worth. Also, you have to take a lot of tests and go through a gauntlet of interviews. Personally I was exhausted after the first one in which they detailed their long drawn out process and dropped out. So, I'm gonna go through all that and I cant negotiate my worth/years of experience?

I will say its a good place/company for starting your dev/design/tech career.

Interviewed at adHoc and while it's good they are fighting for pay parity and equality ... it was a turn off that not any one person could not negotiate their own worth.

Negotiation your salary I guess is something learned and those who work at this company are fairly new in their careers(i think). Personally, I am not, so and again I applaud this company's mission of equality and pay parity. Yet for someone seasoned it led to find other places to work.. places where negotiating ones worth is allowed.
