It's one of only 14 cities in the US to gain 100k residents in the last decade.
Is that your perception of the entirety of the midwest? California isn't just Tesla driving, hoodie wearing, tech types.

Do you have a link/links to where you read that vaccines don't do well at stopping the spread? Everything I've read is that vaccines, while not 100% effective at stopping the vaccinated person from infecting someone else, significantly lower the risk of spreading the virus[0]. That risk drops dramatically when both parties involved are vaccinated.

There's a "Request access" button above the fold.

No, it's not unconstitutional. Government officials are allowed to voice their opinion.

Not sure what your setup is, but I'm using tailwind with create-react-app and craco[1], and the changes show up without needing to reload.

Re:Ask HN: Does anyone use their MBP touch bar for anything? on Thursday January 30, 2020 @11:02AM (#22192336)
If you have BetterTouchTool installed, you can do a lot of cool stuff with the touch bar. I have a button that will run a shell script to spin up a local dev environment.

I'm generally for heavier regulation vs. rampant capitalism, but regulating what media companies can & can't do with their content isn't the answer. That feels like it'd be heading down the path to a state run media.

>the #2 at the FBI

He was the #2 in the FBI Counterintelligence Division, which isn't exactly second in command of the entire bureau.

Also, the article you linked said that the texts "may show potential attempts by the FBI to conduct surveillance of President-elect Trump's transition team". And that is according to one senator from Iowa. That's a big difference from what you're saying actually happened.

Edited for formatting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the job of the SEC to investigate the insider trading, and then call in the DOJ if they deem it necessary to file criminal charges?
