Just saying...
Having the text here instead of linking to an appallingly bad website should always have been the norm. But nooo, we had to wait for Elon Musk to buy the thing.
This is a webdev's idea of what HTTP is
Mine isn't redundant, note. Just because he keeps saying, doesn't mean he's posting about it on HN, and if he does doesn't mean he's doing so verbatim, which I showed.
> In my view, none of those things make the video staged...
Fanboy detected.
However, what makes them great and unique is that they're ideologically motivated, so of course they're not selling shares.
nordvpn has been acquired by some private equity that's acquiring all the vpns.
So what was your original argument against this?
... and when you say "the people that were hurt"... If you leave your wallet on the street, it might be stolen and you might be hurt. I'm not blaming the victim; someone stealing your wallet is wrong even though you left it on the street. It's not your fault, I'm not blaming you, I blame the thief for the theft. On the other hand there's something that you could've done that would've avoided it - don't leave your wallet on the street.
I think Elon Musk is a horrible person, but... this one is on you, right? You thought that a company's service was your social backyard? That's on you.

Alright then.
Pro-tip Remove that keybase from your profile, you look ridiculous.
I didn't know what it was, so I didn't know it was only for macos and windows. If instead of being sarcastic he had just answered my question, I wouldn't have said something irrelevant.
Don't play dumb, you're wasting everyone's time.
You did imply exactly that.
> Do we make them pay a huge fine and climate change is averted? This seems pure distraction to me.
If holding them accountable is a distraction, that implies we shouldn't be doing it.
So yeah, you did kind of say it.
I don't really care about fines. I think the people in charge at that time should be investigated, their internal communication, coordination, and fraud should be exposed, and then they should be put in jail for fraud, if they're still alive. You call this a distraction. I call it making a point.
I'm sorry you're "confused". Some times I get confused with morals and legals don't align, but that's not even the case here.
Yield products aren't the problem, they're a symptom.
The problem is wanting to buy something that has no value and hoping to sell it to someone else who in turn is also hoping to sell it to someone else even higher.
Bitcoin, NFT, yield products, etc, they're all manifestations of the same thing.
In my view Japan at least is undoubtedly a western nation, at least when it comes to the strength and values of their institutions.
