I think now it's the time to create personal software factories. And keep them personal.
Nobody will be interested in your opinions and choices that eventually have to be made to build it. But we should still build them.
The way to scale ai driven development is to increase your trust on the agents, and that's essentially building a personal software factory.
We can share techniques, strategies, designs. Trying to make it too generic and share it outside of your use case is what's wasteful.
I do agree with the tendency of certain personality types to build factories, I've seen already way too many projects like that.
Same here. I have now the best tools I’ve ever had just because I made them tailored to me and my exact nitpicks.
Advertising them now would just be creating more noise on the internet.
They need to ask. How would they know if you can tell the nerfed model from the good one otherwise?
> The amount of time or effort put into something does not determine its value.
It literally does, not only in art. Is not the only factor, yet is definitely one of them. In many objects, the version with 'more human effort' is more expensive.
Years ago I just used Jupyter notebooks with a bash (or many others) backend to have a similar thing.
They might be able to hide it for a while but in a few months/weeks, it will tell itself or break down. The speed at which an “AI powered” engineer can deliver is not within regular human capacity.
Should we start AAA meetings? AI Addicted Anonymous
It’s not you, it’s all of us
Plants? As in vegetation. They literally do that.
I never thought anybody would pay for this. I have it locally, no need for sass. And it hits into my zettlekasten.
Even the people I know that have a use for this, are unwilling to pay and they rather suffer copy pasting things.
It seems more of a feature than a service imo so the integrations would be the interesting bit. Best of luck!!
I can’t tell if you are trolling or just oblivious.
Open search wasn’t precisely born out of the kindness of their heart and their defence of FOSS values… it’s more like a predatory practice to capture market.
Pretty much. But ~95% of US citizens don't seem to be even aware. I'm guessing due to a mix of ignorance and copium.
They seem to be making an effort to not understand.
Like a Minto pyramid. I agree.
Do you even Readme? That page is mostly unreadable by a human, is it meant to be read only by AI?
You should really work on demonstrating the value proposition before asking the user to create an account. If you just want to harvest emails, allow a passwordless trial and full usage only once the password is set (and the account created).
Why would I create an account when I already have free playlist and sleep sound services?
> There are other indices if you want to compare historical prices relevant to moon programs
Could you please expand or give a few pointers on those indices? Or where could I learn more about this.
I thought it was the other way around. First little alchemy, then they used an LLM to create a better version of it.
You seem to have missed the point there.
Your boss has already invited you as the expert ( hence the pay and responsibilities), and your boss does not want to solve his problem, he wants you to do it.
But sure, you can can take any random line of any text, make up a situation with a different context and ensure a different result than the author.
Looks like you completely made up the interpretation that you wanted and fitted your point.
Your point can be valid, but it does lose strength when your interpretation of the previous comment gets both points backwards.
Your post reminded me of “Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.” from G. M. Hopf
I think the scandal with truffle is that even refined palates can't find it. Even the most refined restaurants that use actual truffle, are forced to add the fake thing, or most customers won't be satisfied with the dish.
I felt disappointment after sign up. It's a barren land. What were we supposed to see there?
as far as I Know they are doing nothing wrong and work in partnership with gitlab. They have a program for this. Check the gitlab wiki.
Exactly, it's a forum not Twitter/reddit. Without references and citations this is no better than a bunch of random words, and it's hard to make any argument of substance.
The person asked for citations, leave it be, stop dudexplaining how Internet works for you please.
I call bs on your 2 comments.
can't even see the site, I keep fighting with cookie pop ups
xd they definitely can't. maybe with a small team they could replace some.
you could also call it 'the halo effect'.
