Re:How to engineer an AI harness for game development on Tuesday October 13, 2026 @04:12PM (#50077966)
If we're talking about game development from the 10 last years, it's not hard. It's long, tiring, sometimes boring. But most of the coding is already solved, done and reinvented maybe 50 times already. It's not hard as in "I need to think deep into solving this issue none ever solved".

You can use an alt account. Or buy an old one for couple dollars, without security measures.

Can you really ?

They deployed GLM5.3 (not the Flash version) recently!

Funny experiment !

There have been bots playing WoW for more than 20 years though.

The protocol has been figured out long time ago and well documented.

Image processing has been figured out for a long time ago. It's already in the training data.

Seems like it is the uncontrollable aspect to me.

You can't trust humans to follow the rules. They break rules all the time. Look at the HN community.
Our whole capitalism system is working exactly the same way with few more steps.

Re:Nvidia announces native GPU programming in Rust on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @08:01PM (#49734722)
If the sole motivation for learning things are payoff, then sure.
Re:Nvidia announces native GPU programming in Rust on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @07:07PM (#49734270)
And what prevent you exactly ?

There were humans far superior than you for writting Rust before LLM, now there's a LLM. The only difference is price and time execution.

You get an awesome teacher (LLM) ready to answer all your questions about Rust.

And you still find excuses not to learn it ?

At some point, just realize you've been lazy to learn it and LLMs are just an excuse.

Re:Gemini 3.8 Live and 3.8 Live Extended Thinking on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @03:49AM (#49723283)
Have you tried Gemini 3.8 Flash recently ?

I was like you before, Gemini was the worst model to me.

Then 3.8 came out. At first I was sceptical, but this model *is* able to do useful things ! Complex things.

Of course, it is NOT perfect. But for things like small/medium complex tasks subagents, it's perfect.

Now, is it worth the money vs Astra ? I don't think so. But still my point remain relevant.
