No, he was guest in one episode, when Linus Sebastian built a desktop for Linus Torvalds
Spanish high speed lines are mostly separate from the legacy network as they have different gauges, there are a few parts of the railway with dual gauge tracks but it is that. The Santiago accident was on the conventional rail.
Re:A unique collection of laptops adorned with creative stickers on Wednesday November 12, 2025 @05:13AM (#45898415)
Not really, I work at a big and older company and they will even have stickers around the office(we only need to go to the office 4 or 5 times per year, but can go whenever we please) to put in the laptops.
Re:Googler... ex-Googler on Monday April 14, 2025 @11:29AM (#43682380)
I'm not sure, specially as a lot of income for mozilla foundation came from google.
Spain has similar population, area and climate to California, and even though it has less GDP it has built some good high speed trains infrastructure. I can see your point if the alternative is travelling by car, but if you're going to take planes the train can be a viable option. There are plenty of big urban centres in California that can support public transit.

But YouTube uses some weird translations, this behaviour is not fully consistent and also YouTube knows that I don't watch videos of those channels with subtitles.
You can easily play a very big chunk of the good/great games from the past 40 years and plenty of new good and great games get released every year so you are probably being unlucky or do not know how to find the games that will appeal to your taste.
Tipping is not the convention in Brazil. At least in the Brazilian places I lived in, in São Paulo State

But when you are taking vacations with your family you don't want the stress and the risk of not finding a good accommodation.

I noticed this on my android phone, but my iPad seems to be working fine.
This video seemed quite alright to answer your question https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uv44W7xa4IU
Re:List of Tech company layoffs in Europe on Thursday May 26, 2022 @08:37AM (#31517557)
I mostly used those during the height of the pandemic, with the restrictions on how many people could be inside an store and even how worried I was of getting sick with a small child at home and very far from my family. But now, I have lot's of options very close to home and very few worries (Although I mask myself when inside the store)
Re:Apple Cash on Monday May 23, 2022 @06:00AM (#31477047)
In Spain we have this Bizum thing that allow us to use phone numbers to send money between bank accounts. I Brazil we have Pix which is similar but allows great flexibility on how to identify one person(phone, email, random key)
I mostly worked on smaller studios and for the last 6 years of that career I was working in my own company, I only had WLB problems in my first 2 years, but I never worked in AAA
I was going to ask the same, specially if the company is in Europe
I think it's a bit hard for things like games or even movies to be owned by a person given how many people have to work on those. Having a shorter time limit from publication would be easier and better for the public.
I worked with games development most of my life and then went to web development in this change, for some reason I ended up in position a bit more senior than what I was prepared for in this domain. I thought the job would be fine, specially being my second successful interview with the company, I thought their processes meant that I was good enough for the job they offered me.
I YOLO’d FAANG interviews twice (The interviews were in cities I wanted to visit, so why not)passed both times and even accepted the offer the second time. In the end I wasn't a very good fit for the company.

Is not like the previous games from Bethesda were looking much better using gamebryo, which is also the basis for their own engine.

Even less depending on the capital, 60k before taxes is more of a senior level in the Iberian peninsula.
I sometimes like to read the paragraphs to know why some things are done and possible substitutions, specially if I'm not going to make the recipe immediately. But when I want to make it, I really would love to have it separated from the text.
This doesn't contradicts that lack of funding is a problem, at least in the country from where I come public school teachers are usually underpaid and it can be hard to attract and keep the good ones without it.
India is country with lots of poor people, so sometimes that money is not enough to have decent services for upper middle class citizens not feel like paying a lot for poor services. It is one of the problems of my home country, corruption is problem as well, but sometimes you're just paying lots of money because lots of people are paying nothing or very little.
Re:iPad 9.7‑inch on Tuesday March 21, 2017 @11:03AM (#13922782)
I live in a metric country and screen sizes are in inches, the other measures have their metric size in parenthesis, I would googled the 9.4 inches high, but not the 9.7 screen.
Re:Will robots steal our jobs? The humble loom suggests not on Sunday January 26, 2014 @04:26PM (#7127007)
If you have some kind of basic income then what you said makes sense. If not, people still need food and shelter.
Re:Medium is Winning on Saturday January 11, 2014 @07:59PM (#7044623)
It is to avoid the 300 ms lag waiting for a second touch to zoom.
But the iPhone 5s has a much more capable CPU, you can't compare both based purely on clock speeds. Each Cortex-A7 should be slower clock for clock than an Cortex-A9, so it should put the single threaded CPU performance between the iphone 4s and the iPhone 5, although it can maybe outperfom an iphone 5 in highly threaded tasks.

On the other hand, the low end lumias are more usable than most of same priced android phones in Brazil, I know that here and parts of africa is the way the market is going. I hope they don't stop serving this market.

I use the favorites to mark something to read later, it means that I'm interested in some link that was posted but I wasn't in conditions to read at that time. The OP service is spammy but no one told me that the favorites should only be used in the way you describe.
