I recommend a combined keyboard+trackpad device. Compact, fully featured.
How do you do a double-blind with a drug that perceptibly changes your state of mind?

Re:Show HN: I wrote a book about forms usability on Sunday November 27, 2022 @03:03PM (#33766217)
I didn’t have time to explore the page much but I noticed a small wording issue that I figured you’d want brought to your attention: The sentence “A book how to make your forms better.” is missing the word “about” (alternatively, “A book” can be replaced with “About”).

Best of luck with the book!

Re:Meta Doesn't Know Where All Your Data Is, Engineers Say on Friday September 09, 2022 @04:52PM (#32784770)
Good point. I was thinking of the task of deleting all of a user's data upon request.

I left my tenure at Google with this same impression. Data is constantly being copied, denormalized, cached and transformed. It is true that efforts are made to leave an audit trail that could in theory be followed from initial source data to all derivatives. However, this is practically infeasible and certainly not doable with a single engineer’s worth of knowledge about the system.
