We don't need no illumination.

American here, and we say this about our own cities, an example of which is New Orleans. While I understand your emotional plea, the vast majority of people who do not own homes on a disaster zone do not wish to subsidize those who do. Not everyone is keen to throw endless money down a golden toilet.
We must do whatever it takes to maximize human populations. Whatever it takes.

The money is being used productively in their various retirement investments. It's not like this is just cash under the bed.
Problem is no one wants to download your native app.

It's cowardly to display these opinions after you have left office. When he had any kind of power to do anything, he toed the line.

But seeing as it's voluntary, it's probably the best tax we have.
Re:My wife found my email in the Ashley Madison database on Wednesday August 26, 2015 @07:38PM (#10126643)
true. more evidence is needed. my point was more that simply an email address is definitely not enough evidence.

Who cares about email addresses? Credit card numbers are how you incriminate your cheating spouse.
Criminalizing less victimless activity means less crime.

they should do it all. there is nothing they should not do.
Apple has no incentive to lie about this. None at all.

I have never felt that a design was included in the idea of a full-stack software engineer. that would be something id mention separately if I had the skill.

IMO dependency injection encourages making very deep object graphs. constructor argument passing can be cumbersome, but jumping into new code it is much more clear, and it encourages you to write flatter code structures. i go without.

Why discriminate against new customers? It doesn't seem like a good business case.
Re:Results of the GitHub Investigation on Monday April 21, 2014 @05:16PM (#7623948)
What a crock of shit. People don't typically quit companies they built from the ground up when they have "done nothing wrong".
Re:Results of the GitHub Investigation on Monday April 21, 2014 @05:14PM (#7623933)
totally correct. disgruntled employees should just keep their mouth shut and quit.
H1B workers typically work for contracting companies, so that when the work is up (or if they lost their job) they can go to a new company and continue their green card application. The way the government attaches the process to a job really discourages H1B workers from working for US companies as full time employees.
