What about Palantir!? Care to explain why their Ontology-driven observability is it not considered a Success Story?

I'm switching to Sarala.

AND... (drumroll) Containing AI Agents! LOL

Re:Does anyone run Postgres without PgBouncer? on Tuesday August 18, 2026 @09:37AM (#49345465)
Nope, I'd take pgPool any day mostly for its load balancing abilities, not found on pgBouncer. I've never understood public fascination and favor of pgBouncer over pgPool despite this major omission. Perhaps it's because their unfamiliarity about its features and benefits.

Thanks for being the only pgPool comment ;)

Source: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=has+salesforce+ever+been+hacked%3F... Yes, *Salesforce has experienced multiple hacking incidents*, particularly involving social engineering attacks that targeted its customers, leading to significant data breaches. Notably, the hacking group ShinyHunters has claimed responsibility for exploiting vulnerabilities in Salesforce's systems, affecting numerous high-profile companies.

Cloudflare also reported one as recent as 4 days ago, impacting over 700 companies. Source: https://dailysecurityreview.com/cyber-security/cloudflare-co...

Here it is:

[The water footprint of a single hamburger is *significantly higher than* that of using a large language model (LLM) for a year. For example, the water used for one hamburger is primarily due to the irrigation of cattle feed crops, while data centers like xAI's Colossus 2 consume much less water overall.](https://duckduckgo.com/?q=A+person+eating+one+single+hamburg...)

States that it's significantly higher but the breakdown shows a 660gal vs 1000gal (Single Burger vs 1yr LLM Usage) water usage...

Item Water Footprint (Gallons)

Single Hamburger Approximately 660 gallons

Year of LLM Usage Approximately 1,000 gallons

Never heard of Neeto. It's a no-brainer (imo).

I perceive and classify your business model as a product optimization race-to-the-bottom model, if it makes sense. Have you considered or are currently working in the Field Service Management (NeetoService) space? Perhaps an ERP (NeetoERP)? Honestly curious because they're both sorely needed.

Thanks again for your AMA-ability. ;)

Never imagined Scale.ai CEO was D2Lang creator nor that he joined his room-mate at OpenAI (giggle).

Thanks for sharing

I concur and share your thoughts - "it's a race to the bottom" - also as you said and I recently shared with a close friend:

- "In the AI Age, Data is your only Moat!"

Thanks for sharing such valuable insights JanSchu! B-)

First, congrats on your accomplishment(s) and leveraging your AI+Python+WebDev talents.

Isn't this a SaaS-pocaplyse testament? What's stopping anyone from doing the same to BrightBean? What's stopping anyone with a little of domain knowledge and a $200+ Claude to clone your app and build yet another gap-filling, slightly improved content-syndication version and go-to-market? Is it worth taking it to the market when anyone can perpetuate the cycle?

I'm genuinely interested in knowing your thoughts.

You beat me to it! I envisioned creating some aliases but you exceeded it by building a TUI. Good job Claude! LOL ;)

* FreeSwitch Messaging API - https://signalwire.com/pricing/messaging

Can/will do the trick for fractions of a penny... B)

Check their UseCases... * https://signalwire.com/products/cloud-messaging#message-use-...

Also, if you're a real PBX nerd, check Asterisk.org which pre-dates and may have sparked if/not powered early-Twilio.

Become a Tradesman (Carpenter, Electrician, Mechanic, Welder, Plumber, Cleaner, etd) or a tradesman agency! They've become highly paid and most agencies are ripe for acquisition.

But since if you're so lazy/undisciplined to disregard skilling up (Leetcode, Coursera, Udemy, Pluralsight, etc) then I think your race to become one won't be any easier and I can't recommend anything else.

Good luck!

Re:Ask HN: Best way to create a searchable knowledge base? on Thursday October 16, 2025 @10:07PM (#45612696)
I think you need a Zettelkasten, but its data collection from all your sources may be challenging if not an overkill... However, a Zettelkasten stores metadata, which can include tags, subject headings, and unique identifiers that help link and organize notes. This metadata enhances the ability to retrieve and connect related information within the system; not sure how to do so externally.

The key is to store both data and metadata... OpenMetadata may be what you need: https://open-metadata.org/ but I couldn't spot wiki, chat, github nor JIRA connectors

Good luck, keep us posted.

Ok, so that glm-4.6 doesn't/can't run locally? That's quite a disappointment
FYI: Still doesn't redirect... Had to remove the url query params. Only https://apps.apple.com/us/app/scriber-pro/id6751968220 worked as expected.

Thanks for sharing.

Looking forward to the "Speaker Detection" feature release. ;)

App Store link no longer works. Willing to try/purchase but it's nowhere available. AppStore search doesn't return "Scriber Pro" either.

Thanks.
