Slide rules are awesome, it's a shame that they don't make Versalogs anymore. I use my Versalog every single day. Good to see another slide rule enthusiast out in the wild! Do you own any physical slide rules or do you just use the emulators?
I've been trying to mod my Versalog's cursor to have a holographic display, but I've been rather unsuccessful.

FWIW, this is quite redundant. Lots of code for something that be achieved with a simple bash script. Not to mention, the ffmpeg CLI is extremely friendly as is, so a TUI for muxing/encoding to one single codec is overkill IMO.
Took a while for the site to load on my end, but that's probably just good 'ol university WiFi. Regardless, the site would be awesome for OSINT purposes.

I’m new here and even I’m fed up with posts from AI bots. I just wanted a place that was away from all that nonsense, but here I am.
I use a custom userscript on my PC to hide posts that have certain keywords that attracts that type of crowd. I don’t have it on my phone which sucks but it’s nice for browsing during college classes.

Reminds me of the book that taught me computer architecture, Malvino & Brown's "Digital Computer Electronics". Especially the block diagrams.
I do wonder why we weren't taught about stack machines in my university courses, they seem practical for low-level data handling.

Preference for tangibilities is well-reflected not just in monetary matters. I’m a college student, and an increasing number of academics carry physical textbooks (including myself) as well as specialized hardware (i.e. MP3 players).
