Buddy I was literally taught that in my (British) English class, and later seen it used in this context by natives countless times. If anything, using "he/she" is an ugly unpronounceable abomination.

Honestly unless you insist on allowing running your software on Windows you're much better off delegating the logging to syslog over a thin wrapper. This however goes against Java land portability promises and NIH attitude so we have what we have.

Imagine that you don't need monitoring servers, like possibly the majority of actual log4j deployments?

Yes you are allowed to check that it functions. You are not allowed to use it. TFA is about a product used for considerable time.

Imagine you're trying to prove that water is wet (P!=NP). You lack a formalism that could make sense at building a proof even though pretty much everyone agrees from empirical evidence that the water is indeed wet. A promising attempt at building one such formalism was just demonstrated by a model to be a dead end.

Do you really believe Open AI made more progress in math than any of the human predecessors? Come on.
Galois had built modern algebra before dying at 20. What agents did so far is flash in a pan.

The very reason Trump and his drill sergeant in Pentagon refuse to commit boots on the ground is even they realize how it's going to be. ISR footage of American servicemen dying with no chance of rescue would be bad for ratings.

Over someone who never fired any real weapon? Probably. You are not startled by violent sounds. You have intuition for ballistics, time to target, CEP, weather effects.

Would a rifle marksman be a better artilleryman than someone who never ever touched a gun?
See the beauty of analogies is you can make one to support any point.

Maybe Russia should have tried that on NATO if that's where it's beef is, rather than attacking a neutral third country. But Russia is a weak bully and weak bullies seek for weaker victims (and have weak, cowardly sympathizers).
