Reality is nobody forced you to have kids.

If you cannot raise your kids properly, please dont have kids.

Meta’s content algo is engineered for sensationalism. It inherently encourages instability.

There is, it was an Android app called Popcorn Time.

Quite a feat considering it was developed without AI help.

Re:Apple HomeView on Tuesday October 13, 2026 @12:17PM (#50074142)
A product needs to fulfill the needs of the lowest common denominator to become a hit. This does not seem to address or solve any problems of the lowest common denominator.

It is like the Apple XDR display. Cool to have, but useless in the grand scheme of things.

Yes, a vanilla Android TV with a semi powerful SoC.

I have the 4K and MiBox next to each other, the Apple TV is cool for a UI showcase, but beyond the oohs and aahs the MiBox is a more useful entertainment device.

Any vanilla android TV box with an Amlogic chip will not have ads, and will run circles around this overpriced headless iPhone.

It is a public square in the sense that you can speak freely and not get stoned to death.

Honestly with AI just build it yourself.

I took the plunge and ripped out all my (“open source”) Magento shopfronts and reimplemented them from the ground in…… 2 hours. And it is so much more performant to boot.

Have you read the article.

He’s indicted for mass streaming his own songs to pump up the play count. It’s outright fraud.

If you build anything worth building you’ll know contractors are a net drag in the long run. It’s a mistake most rookie middle management make and learn the hard way.

How many critical job functions can you offshore. The world isn’t like it used to be, everyone is woke and will not work for less.

You’re simply outcompeted by other employers. Get good.

The village head typically prefers people from his own village. Not rocket science.
I said high trust not high intelligence. Your law enforcement gives blanket trust to reports, because in a high trust society false report is rare.
High trust society and high HDI.

Act now (to reduce potential loss of life) and verify later

There are obvious deal breakers, and then as you grow older you develop “taste”.

These are well defined criteria which can be queried upon.

However the ranking only works if both sides are honest.
