Yes, and all the postulates have been evidenced and panned out.
Re:I Don't Understand Quantum Physics (2018) on Sunday October 25, 2026 @02:56PM (#50234864)
You look at if the postulates are falsifiable. All the postulates from me have been evidenced or are falsifiable.

The Copenhagen wavefunction collapse is unfalsifiable.

Re:I Don't Understand Quantum Physics (2018) on Sunday October 25, 2026 @02:51PM (#50234812)
Nope it’s the opposite. The Copenhagen wavefunction collapse is untestable or unfalsifiable.

With many words, every postulate has been tested and very verified. What more can you ask from a theory?

Now objective collapse is a testable postulate but none expects that to pan out.

Pretty much all physics for since forever has been about the ontological explanation of what’s happening. If you don’t want to subscribe to an ontological interpretation then that’s something new and the opposite of how people have always done physics. It’s something that has only ever come about with qm.

In normal physics people often use occamz razor and subscribe to what the interpretation with the simplest postulates says.

So the reality is the opposite. You don’t like what the physics is saying so for emotional reasons you’ve come up with a completely new and novel framework to discount what the simplest set of equations is saying.

I think you need both. In some situations one is bad and the other is great and vice versa.
Re:ASML says it sold 'absolutely nothing' in Europe in 2026 on Tuesday September 29, 2026 @07:08PM (#49902073)
That’s completely useless. The point is that we need full control over the full pipeline for security.

If China invades Taiwan 70% of noting is still nothing.

No subsidies and government intervention aren’t bad things. Even Trump realise that.
Depression is related to biological health of the brain. People are exercising less leading to worse biological health of the brain. So you’d expect depression to be increasing.

Reinvesting doesn’t impact profits they are making. That’s not how it works

But your view of art is based on who you “think” made it. So if someone lies about who made the art your views on the art changed. That’s a strange position that doesn’t make sense to me.
Deleted stuff can easily be recovered. I think the full clean will remove the encryption keys hence making it unrecoverable.
Ideally you’d weightlifting a few days a week and do cardio in a few days. So it’s not an either or.

Paid holiday isn’t a work day

That’s what the article is saying but there is no way that maths out with legit long term sick.
Re:GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra will be in Codex on Thursday July 09, 2026 @03:28PM (#48851213)
You probably should test your fake scenarios before making claims on how what llms do.

Why is it that almost every time someone makes a claim it turns out wrong when tested

Re:GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra will be in Codex on Thursday July 09, 2026 @03:24PM (#48851139)
A human requires sleep the update their mental model to use that learning years later.

Take a human and prevent them from sleeping after covering a fact then years later they won’t know it.

If you want data to train a Llm, you might want human data for specific parts vs Llm.
I guess that’s the dead internet theory. People are trying to train llms using mt, but just training on itself.
Electric systems are 100% efficient at heat generation.

It’s pretty much impossible to buy half the books I want.
Re:How little exercise can you get away with? on Thursday July 09, 2026 @02:47PM (#48850635)
I think the key thing is to make people aware of the consequences of their choices. If people are completely aware of how much they are fucking up their life fine, that’s on them. Many people don’t realise just how much of a big impact it has. Is not just physical health. For mental health nothing beats exercise.

God your comments are soo horrible and toxic.
I’m pretty sure other experts are also saying that it’s due to a different way of measuring levels.
Re:We charge $10k a week to delete AI-generated code on Thursday July 09, 2026 @01:16PM (#48849282)
I had a product where I was doing accountancy ratios and it’s not that simple since you have lots of different source data to use and it was such a nightmare to combine everything in the right way. Ai did that easily. Also writing code to extract unstructured data was a few hours vs weeks of work.
Re:What Do We Know About the Microplastics Inside Us? on Wednesday July 08, 2026 @04:25PM (#48836993)
That’s wrong. Only if the studies are powerful enough and are looking at the right stuff can you make any reasonable conclusions.

If the studies are powerful enough then that absolutely isn’t evidence of absence at all.

I’m not sure what this has to do with capitalism. You get as bad or even worse under other systems.

The equivalent would be hypnosis style crap, where some people will tell you stuff for some other just as stupid reason
People and teams absolutely are doing really dumb and stupid stuff. And they could learn a lot from this article

Therapeutic index of fentanyl is much higher than heroin or morphine, but I don’t think people really think that it makes it safer.
Healthy and whole foods are a different thing. A healthy diet would have so much fiber that 5k Fritos be near impossible
