Re:Be careful what you test or deploy to Vercel

Vercel is sooo easy. Hook it to a repo and you’re done. It’s also cheap depending on use case. Edge functions are nice. Zero complaints from me as a customer for a little over a year.
I work with a small crew and having no server maintenance lets us ship more code. Really as simple as that.

I read this book two weeks ago. This review is dead on. The book definitely sparked my interest to learn more. I take my technician exam next weekend. My one complaint about the book is the typography and spacing is pretty bad - at least the Amazon version I bought.

You’re describing a multivariate test. Two groups under two different algorithm variants. Multivariate tests still require control groups.

I honestly can't tell if you're trolling. "La-tinks" is just as much of an anglo-ization as pronouncing it like "Kleenex". There aren't a lot of cases in Spanish where three consonants are mashed together. Especially not ending with an "s" sound.

Tbh I've never optimized for reply rate so this could have been true for me as well. Generally selling dtc. Open rate and sales increased reliably 10-15%. Haven't done any comparable email marketing in two years so things may have changed since then and obviously my anecdata may not be true for you.

Emojis in subject line reliably increase open rate in my experience. Also others report the same:

Maybe SO emails go over the top though
