You can get an rough idea using https://www.privacyaffairs.com/dark-web-price-index-2021/ report

A valid US valid social security number is estimated at 2$, a USA selfie with holding ID is estimated at $100 $2

How will Spain ensure the registry remains confidential?

What identifiers will be shared with other EU countries?

Correct. I understand in that case.

I would love for uBlock to find a workaround.

Re:macOS unable to open any non-Apple application on Thursday November 12, 2020 @06:32PM (#25076789)
That's scary. What if you set it up inside a Virtual Machine?
Re:macOS Big Sur on Thursday November 12, 2020 @05:17PM (#25075922)
Untrue in my understanding.

The Electron app needs to run to set options or to force filters update, not the rest of the time. It's still an annoyance but it's better than nothing.

I've found [1] to be an interesting source of comparison. Crowd-based, authors seem to actively update it.

Re:What kind of data is my new car collecting? on Wednesday January 15, 2020 @04:24PM (#22058796)
Another interesting quote from this thread:

- "On that note, China has a law in place that mandates all electric cars send real time telemetry to their government servers - Model S/X/3, NIO cars and any other electric car if they're driving already complies with that law to be road certified"

- "Don't be surprised if that becomes a mandate in other countries"

Modern smartphones keep recording WiFi access points even when you toggle WiFi off.
ZeroTier is an alternative, free up to 100 devices.

Good point. This will probably force more companies to experiment remote work.

Would it be a solution for you to buy foreign currencies with lower inflation amount (e.g. EUR)?
I can confirm. They might use your origin account country?
Re:Apple Watch Series 5 on Tuesday September 10, 2019 @07:27PM (#20934983)
There is few literature on the effect of marijuana on sleep. It mostly looks like it decrease your REM sleep while increasing your deep sleep when you take any of it (the process inverse when you stop). Actually, any open data or even feedback would be of help.
Or maybe even offer to acquire you?
Re:Is it better to avoid washing your clothes? on Wednesday July 10, 2019 @04:05AM (#20400054)
Being heavily subject to eczema in my first two decades I have experimented with various changes to the point of having it stop 98% of the time now:

- increasing the skin natural barrier through limited soap (only if there is a stinky area) - reducing overall inflammation (better sleep, more sport, better nutrition through vegetables fruits and limited meat proteins) - bathing in the ocean - minutes of direct sun exposure

The last two will do wonders. A highly stressing episode or accumulated sleep debt however and the skin will start itching as a warning.

On that auto-immune topic, this reminds me of the Hygiene hypothesis which basically assert immune issues as a result of too much cleanliness (over simplified version).

"The hygiene hypothesis states that early childhood exposure to particular microorganisms protects against diseases by contributing to the development of the immune system. In particular, a lack of exposure is thought to lead to defects in the establishment of immune tolerance." [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hygiene_hypothesis]

Thank you, lots of detail provided.

Excerpt: "What we see are the public statements, for public consumption, they are designed to "sell" the changes to the wider public. What we do not see is what is being said in private meetings by officers who get to decide how to optimize the business."

Thank you gorhill for what you did to the web community.

Interesting that fiberglass fibers are typically 5-25 micrometers (µm), while asbestos fibers can be 180A to 300A (1 angstrom = 1/10000th of a micrometer. So an asbestos fiber is between ~200 to 1400 times smaller than a glass fiber.

Acrylic fibers are 15 µm to 25 µm. Merino wool fibers are 15 µm to 30 µm. And human hairs diameters are between 20 to 200 µm.

Seems to be a biological limit to the body cleaning system e.g. nanoparticles, abestos

Re:Report deems Russia a pioneer in GPS spoofing attacks on Monday April 15, 2019 @08:52AM (#19664911)
You can also check [1]: "through a collaboration with researchers from The University of Texas at Austin, we expose the use of GPS spoofing in active Russian combat zones, particularly Syria, for airspace denial purposes. This is a capability scarcely reported in the public domain. Using data from a scientific sensor on the International Space Station (ISS), we are able to identify ongoing activity that poses significant threats to civilian airline GPS systems"

- works best on desktop though

Would you have specific architecture ressources/techniques to avoid heat traps?

My experience in Spain is that comes winter time, flats are so poorly insulated that it is like you are heating a house windows opened.
