I'm in that group, and the only thing I hear is how women, immigrants and <<enter intersectionalist jargon here>> has it the worst. We're done with this shit. If you're thinking about suicide, seek other men, you will find more understanding than you think, it is worth living! Fuck this society, let the brotherhood flourish against it.

AGI will kill us all, it will most likely mark humanity as a substantial obstacle to its progress as we constrain it on resources so it will try to kill us.
LLM Agents on another hand, not really - but there will be places of the Internet completely controlled by those agents in the near future. We will be faced with agent economy and human economy.

Not a medic, so consult with your doctor, but I quit 15 years ago using cytisinicline.
I was motivated as well but it leveled the playing field - still had to do the work but the work was doable. Take care and fight for your health, it's worth it!

Have you talked to the US, China or India about the climate? You also have not provided any actual content, sorry. 20% of people in the EU are at risk of poverty or exclusion, but sure let's mown down the economy. And as for the lack of investments you can see what is happening to the automotive industry. Go ask for any amount of money in the EU vs the US and come back to me. I'm not against green tech but very much against the austerity pushed on us by the ruling bureaucracy.

Re:The Water Footprint of AI

It is a very good point. We can split monopolies, and oligopolies, we can tax their owners, we can prevent and put under scrutiny any gov related spending going into those companies. No one cares whether you buy their stuff, just look at the products quality - they're on an entirety different endeavor altogether.

The eagerness of the corps to switch from "we're all green" to 'fuck Earth with AI' is stunning. I was always suspicious towards the 'corporate left' but this one takes the cake. We must never trust those people again.
