The Economist should be held up as the pinnacle of quality writing worth paying for. Very few ads (maybe a full pager for lear jets and some classifieds). It may cover some of the same current events as AP or other news services, but their content isn't available anywhere else.

maybe - but the codethat's the hardest to understand (age, size, immature) is often the least tested, or worse the tests have been gamed over time because the previous assumptions are no longer relvevant & the code has changed so much new developers just want them to pass.
related aside - In my experience developers are much more likely to cut out old code than they are to remove or refactor irrelevant tests

And is OKC really much better? I was uncomfortable there and I'm a straight, white, married male. I can't imagine what it would be like to be brown or gay or anything outside a very narrow definition of "normal". I also can't believe that a smaller city could possibly be better than OK's larger centers...

I loved and used Image Composer for years after I'd moved on from Frontpage; I remember havng to install FP solely to get a copy of it (and some of the other tools like GIF animator)
