Do you have some examples of what big-picture stuff Casey doesn't understand? Not talking about being a team-player.

There will always be concerns from some people. Always.
Worth noting that Project Astoria was shelved before release, and WSL came out after Windows Phones final release.

So technically WSL was not intended to be used for porting android apps.

But they did use Project Astoria as at starting ground to create WSL.

I know it's not the same, but if you bookmark "https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%s" and put in a keyword like "yt". You can type "yt whatever" in the addressbar and it will do a search on youtube.

There's a pretty good list on the Arch Wiki of hardcoded config locations.

Most of what I use supports the XDG ~/.config directory, which is nice. But there's still some that doesn't support it.

Same here. Call me naive all you want, but I do think Mozilla has our best intention. They won't sell the data, they will try to keep it as secure as possible and anonymize it. As seen they even made a deal with Cloudflare to ensure they don't log any of that data.

I'm a strong advocate for privacy but if I'm going to give away my data I'd rather have it be Mozilla than Facebook or Google.

Re:Why religion is not going away and science will not destroy it on Wednesday September 13, 2017 @08:14AM (#15237501)
I think the difference is that religion focuses on what happened, and science focuses on how it happened.

I know some do, but I think most Christian people don't actually believe it took god 6 days or 144 hours to create everything. I think the accept that it's a metaphor, that doesn't try to explain it.

While I don't believe in any religion, I still think these two things can coexists. For instance the originator of the Big Bang theory was both a scientist and priest.
