I use Moniker and I have been happy with them. They have a pleasant interface. However, if you add their extra services like email and such it probably becomes expensive.

You can find the radiation level of your phone at the link below. Enter the FCC ID that is located on your phone. The lower SAR, the better. Anything over 1.0 is relatively high and 1.6 is the maximum legal limit. I think the iPhone is around 1.0-1.1.

The most important advice is to constantly challenge your mind, but diet and sleep are extremely important in making your body and brain operate efficiently.

Omega-3 fatty acids have many health benefits but overeating fish these days will lead to excessive mercury in your system. Also many of the Omega-3 pills are of low quality. Note that men are probably best off taking the oil with more DHA than EPA, while the inverse applies to women. That said, if most of your protein is coming from seafood, you should be well ahead of the health curve.

I find that frequent eating helps me survive extended programming sessions. Anecdotally, meaty pasta seems to be one of the best foods when I need to pull an all nighter.

I think it is important to remember that the immortality mentioned here is a protection from biological causes of death, but there are plenty of other obstacles to prolonged existence (especially prolonged self-consciousness and memory, which is harder to wrap one's head around).

Take the popular theories of the universe's lifespan (or life cycle).

1) The universe is expanding exponentially: eventually every star will die and there will be nothing to birth new stars. The universe will stop moving and hit a zero Kelvin freeze.

2) The universe cycles between big bangs and big crunches: information cannot survive through a crunch. Well maybe one binary bit? hehe.

3) Some sort of multi-universe collisions or string theory madness: who knows but there could be some event that wipes out what we know as reality.

Basically, I am trying to point out that immortality is probably a fundamentally flawed concept. A simpler approach might be to consider memory. Memory storage cannot grow forever (let alone be accessed efficiently enough) and while we could cap memory and still exist indefinitely, I think we would have to hit a ceiling of knowledge attainment and we would just be spinning a wheels like a more exciting version of a rock (not that humanity is any less of a _process_ right now).

Smarter people than I have already dwelled upon these issues and probably have better answers than mine (esp. since I have no answer). Asimov's "The Last Question" is an interesting short story that covers this area a bit.

What are you talking about? Apple overcharges for everything. Their monitors and laptops alone are probably 20% more expensive than the PC equivalents. Early iPods had terrible battery life and sound quality. As far as the OS, Windows sets the bar pretty low, but the recent versions of OSX have not been the most stable.

I've wanted to play around with their laptops, iPods, and iPhone, but everytime I start looking into it the price scares me off. I've been more than happy staying away from both MS and Apple products, but at least the Apple ones pique my interest slightly.
