Why should we trust AI company leaders? Sam Altman was quoted as saying, "We believe that the world should accept some bad things happening for the benefits of this technology and people having the agency." Does that sound like someone who considers safety a high priority?

So you still trust OpenAI after Sam Altman said, "People talk about how much energy it takes to train an AI model – but it also takes a lot of energy to train a human. It takes about 20 years of life – and all the food you consume during that time," and after he said, "We believe that the world should accept some bad things happening for the benefits of this technology and people having the agency."
