The domain is canonical.

Then it's syndicate everywhere.

But all roads lead back to the domain.

The washing machine does. Either this conversation has come full circle or HN, circus of productivity hacks, is exceptionally ineffective at doing laundry.

Does it not smell and fester when left for days?

A wash per day. In it, a couple of t-shirts, a shirt, a hoodie, a pair of trousers, socks, underwear. At max.

It really shouldn't take more than a handful of seconds to give a good flap and put any one of these on a hangar.

Likewise folding. A couple of seconds. Shirts don't need folding, they stay n the hangar.

I'm struggling to think why it would take longer. Are you new to clothes?

I have a washing machine. That automates most of washing clothes, hanging and folding them takes seconds.

I expect robots in unexpected, previously unautomated areas. I don't expect them to look humanoid other than the ones that will look exceptionally humanoid perhaps changing form from time to time.

Maybe a competitor is trying to FUD them?

Delivery and porn are basically 95% of the new economy so good for him getting into position - so to speak.
It's like HTMX but with zoom as the transition. I'm curious what could be done with the inner target.

Forcing seasons into chunks of equal duration also feels wrong, to me but also anyone I recall having a conversation with so seeing every HN comment assuming all seasons are 3 months long is somewhat perplexing.
We can just all use rsync, no need for an app.

My job is social and deadline driven. Here's what works for me:

Lifting some weights in a deserted gym - no music or people.

Stretching for 20 minutes before bed each day.

Getting a full night's sleep.

Going to a favourite restaurant once or twice a week. The rest of the time a simple, high fibre diet with lots of water, no alcohol, cigarettes or drugs.

Doing a part-time postgraduate course to boost some depth and variety to the often-times surface-level demands of work work.

It needed more than a flush.

Or a pickup from 2015 - 2021 which was 0% growth.

It's tricky to pick an end-of-decade year also - recessions tend to happen +/- 2 years of the end of each decade in the USA, or at least have done since records began in the 19th century. For example 2010 was recovery over 2008/2009's bust. It's not like comparing March to Ma4ch for a crude seasonal adjustment.

I view it as a change in philosophy that does allow more ads indeed and goes deeper into how microsoft view themselves and by extension their customers:

You have an account that exists on Microsoft - on being somewhere, multiple places at once, even in location and function, in a ocean of Microsoft but whose existence and ownership of existence is finely permissioned.

vs.

You own your device(s).

Windows XP + Encarta.

The future is today!

It's Friday night / Saturday morning. Who wants to be reading text?

Especially on night mode themes.

Besides, can we read anymore? In the age of 'GPT summarise it me' attention spans and glib commentary not about the content of the article being all many people have to add, perhaps liberal application of visualisations adds digestive value.

I don't have time to check Stripe but do have time to figure out another crypto coin seems to be the wrong way around unless marketed to a very niche group.
Creates echo chambers, karma whoring 'power' accounts, rewards ego-posting and generally makes the experience about who says what not what is said. Worsens the problem.
Re:If you drive clock wise along the beach on an island on Friday February 27, 2026 @11:46PM (#47190562)
If you project from the centre, as if the observer is trapped in the middle of the earth like a Jules Verne prisoner with x-ray vision watching the world above them, it is to the right (anti-clockwise to the left).

But no one thinks like that.

After testing whis, what strikes me is how stubborn the LLMs are about being wrong. Is that a more important takeaway: that LLMs seem to back down less even when clearly wrong?

I AIed a new currency coin and am currently llmmaxxing an airline rooted around no assumption models.

Traditional moats have crumbled. New norms challenge established truths. What were barriers are now entry.

A phase shift across industry where entrepreneur becomes the incumbent. This time it is different. I say go for it!

There are more important things than continually arguing on an internet forum, as you have been with multiple people here, that you're right when it's been pointed out numerous times that you jump off half cocked and is not the case. More generally, it is an unfortunate arogant and dangerous mindset from a sizeable part of the HN community.
This is sadly typical arrogant HN commentary jumping off to sound clever, cynically playing on the 'engineer mentality' fallacy, having put no effort to discredit the argumen as witnessed by the now clearly stupid argument presented, yet selfishly putting the onus on others to correct. It's quite sociopathic.

Sometimes action outside concensus is needed.

A shed is in your garden. Happiness is in your head.
Memory, notes hierarchy and filename (I tend to keep notes conceptually atomic and not just the date/time as a filename), tag search, free text search, citation backsearch; I have a bibtex library linked but that's mainly focused on maintaining references to published work- I use JabRef but IMHO that's really too heavy for what I use it for.
Tools: Zettlr for notes. user?weird_tentacles explained the concept of zellelkasten. These are synced to a cloud folder so I have access to them on the move.

Blog: Compiling notes into 'new' knowledge is challenging and interesting. I try to keep on doing what I did in postgrad research.

It is manipulation when wafers are purchased in order to not process further a la OpenAI.

No GDPR no play.
Add it to your blog. Add your blog which is full of interesting core and satellite stuff.
They seem quite honest with who they are and how they do what they do.
