Can't you just open a window at night?

The AC removes the humidity though so it is a non-issue indoors.
Is there a good reason why it takes that committee over a week just to meet? Why can't they just schedule a zoom conference and then issue an executive order the same day? It's not like starving babies are a time critical issue like missiles for Ukraine or something.
Don't worry they've formed a committee to look into maybe doing something about this. Meanwhile babies are starving. I wish I were joking.

I don't even have the ability to downvote on HN.
Maybe the US is just good at maintaining a facade that they aren't authoritarian. The US border agents are acting in an objectively authoritarian manner while the Chinese border agents are not and yet somehow you conclude that the Chinese are the real authoritarians. It seems like you are a victim of propaganda.

There are a good number of grey countries on that map I suspect they would just rendition you from.
Just like trying to report a security vulnerability to a company in good faith, you are often better off just publishing it anonymously even if it is worse for the company.

I have multiple friends who have left AT&T because of this. It seems to me they are shooting themselves in the foot.
What assets?
We have a fractional reserve banking system. What was the reserve rate set at in 2020?

My only complaints about the freestyle machines are that they are slower to use and sometimes at busy locations it can create a bottleneck. The second is that it is harder to be precise with the fill level because there is significant latency on the dispense button. Overall I am ambivalent towards them.

I don't see why battery life is relevant to phone size. My point was just that I don't mind a bigger phone. It doesn't matter to me. We got to the point that they were thin enough long ago. If they could add a few millimeters of thickness and have a phone with a battery that lasted 30 or 40 hours that would be preferable to me. Instead manufactures are obsessed with making thinner and thinner phones.

As for waterproofing I have never in my entire life ruined a phone by dropping it into water. I would still prefer removable batteries. It is a good trade-off in my opinion.

I am willing to concede that my opinions might not reflect those of the general public.

Yeah I did pick the worst of the bunch, but in my defense it was the most prominently featured and like you said the others aren't that much better.

My old phones with removable batteries fit in my pocket just fine.
Just sue them to prevent them from being able to quit.

I don't know anything about shoes, but I looked up Balenciaga and those have to be some of the ugliest shoes I have ever seen.

If you lose your job then you qualify for Medicaid and get free doctors visits and emergency care. The people who get fucked the worst by our system are the working poor. The people who make just over the limit for Medicaid and have crappy employer sponsored plans.

I lost my job due to illness and I am currently on Medi-Cal. There is no deductible. Pretty much everything non-cosmetic is covered 100% including dental. My previous health insurance from a Fortune 100 company was much worse with all sorts of byzantine rules. I think you have been seriously misinformed.

In my area United Association Plumbers get $42.77/hour and have great benefits including healthcare/pension. I agree though we need truly universal healthcare like medicare for all. The system we have now is hopelessly broken.

This seems to encourage the Scotty approach.
Yes they changed how it was measured around that time, but that didn't cause the substantial change in money supply. They didn't really change how it was measured that much. They say themselves it was due to increased demand for money.
That's not what the Fed says.

>In late February and early March of 2020, the Fed cut its policy interest rate dramatically to help ease credit conditions during the COVID-19 crisis. The resulting acceleration in the supply of M1 can be understood largely as banks accommodating an increase in people’s demand for money.

There is always the analogue hole. Music piracy is a battle that has long been lost.
